Arm recently announced the Arm Neoverse roadmap and two new platforms targeting cloud to edge infrastructure. In this presentation, Kevin Ryan (Senior Director, Software Ecosystem Development) takes us on the journey to enabling the full software stack for cloud-native deployment. Amazon EC2 A1 instances are the first EC2 instances powered by Arm-based AWS Graviton processors. They deliver significant cost savings for scale-out and Arm-based applications, such as web servers, containerized microservices, caching fleets, and distributed data stores that are supported by the extensive Arm product platform. In this workshop, you learn about EC2 A1 instances and experience how easy it can be to migrate and run your workloads on EC2 A1.

**** Please note that this is a working tutorial. To prepare, you need: ****

• Laptop or laptop-like device
                (Need a keyboard and terminal/shell access)
•       A Modern Browser with Third-Party Cookies Enabled
                (Chrome or Firefox recommended; IE will NOT work)
•       Established AWS Account with Admin Access privileges – new accounts can be created by signing up for a free EC2 account here:https://aws.amazon.com/ec2/ and credits will be provided to cover the workshop utilization
                (Need fairly widespread permissions: create IAM roles, VPCs, Subnets, Routes, EC2, Secrets, etc.)
