For Speakers
Please add your presentation to Sched.com by attaching a pdf file to your session (under Extras > + File). We will export these presentations daily and feature on the connect.linaro.org website here. Videos will be uploaded as we receive them (if the video of your session cannot be published please let us know immediately by emailing connect@linaro.org).

IoT Field Software Engineer
Ian is an IoT Field Software Engineer with Canonical working on securing container deployments to IoT devices, performing device enablement and software deployment for the Ubuntu Core platform.
Ian also is a contributor to the open source EdgeX project as a member of the DevOps and System Management working groups.
Previously, Ian worked as a software engineer at Wolfram Research writing device drivers, networking libraries, web server applications, and generic foreign function interfaces for the Wolfram Language and Mathematica.
Additionally, Ian was an instructor at the Wolfram Science Summer School 2015-2018, mentoring students on a wide array of topics such as machine learning, image processing, signal processing, networking analysis, and robotics, as well as giving lectures on topics such as networking, data science, interfacing between different computing environments such as embedded Linux devices, microcontroller devices, GPUs, HPC, and others.
